Default Mourning Veil Falls (Drop Ruby AND MORE)

Hi guys...
I was completing my skill hunter title and suddenly a normal foe drop a ruby!!!
I thought its a bug, I try it again and BOOM 3 rubys for me again and 4 rares 1 green, I get my skill and map out to look for next boss (i will try it again today to make sure), i think each zone has it rate(%) of rare items and no 1 is farming there.

(I HOPE ITS NOT A BUG)

I got lucky today too. Was doing Titan Source on one of my characters and got a black dye, superior vigor and major vigor drops in Dragon's Gullet.

I still wouldn't claim any higher rate of getting good stuff in that area though.

*sighs about the same old stupid argument that loot would depend upon the amount of players farming the area at the same time*

Honestly, I got a ruby in FoW about 2 day's ago...did not think twice about it since I know it is a random drop (so random I one got one off a lvl. 2 madtis pincer on newb island in factions when I was farming for jade orbs back during that dragon event) but now...I am a bit interested, it would make some sence that A-Net would buff the drop rate a tiny bit, with Vabii armor and all.

It's likely most areas (if not all) has been increased with a drop rate and percentage due to Vabbian armor (which should be expensive, but not to the degree it is) and other things.

Who knows, maybe it's a brand new armor Hard Mode will bring along? Eh eh

I must admit that ive noticed an increase in more rare drops in the last few days...

Ive been playing throught the low level missions of prophecies in the past few days, and ive found 2-3 silver dyes, 3-4 golds and 5+ runes.

If this was made intentionally by ANet then i hope it stays this way, as making more money and sinking the prices is just what we need in this game!

Now that you mention it i got both a White dye and a Silver dye on a solo UW run last night, maybe A-net has increased the chance of some of the more obscure, yet useful and somewhat expensive items. If they did then good for them or maybe we are all just had quite a bit of luck over the last week :P

Just did a Kephet's Refuge run with a few guildies and we had like 5 Key drops and the green drop.

They're completely random drops. The last two gems I saw dropped from the Drought and from an Afflicted in Vizunah Square.

I have to say though, four gems in one day is fantastically good luck.

The other day I was working on my Tyrian Explorer title with my 'sin (by the way, awesome and yet inundating how much explorable area there is in Tyria - no doubt that it's more than Cantha and Elona combined) and even in the lowly Ascalon regions I got a a white dye and 2 silvers. In the southern Shiverpeaks I got a black dye. All in the span of a couple hours of exploring. I guess since I'm fighting not running, after so many kills eventually something good has got to drop!

Well I haven't noticed any "uber-luck" at all. Sure, the drops don't suck that bad but the best was to get 3/5 golds out of vabbian chests.
